Housing Solutions believes that all families and individuals have the right to a decent and safe place to call home. Our accomplishments and efforts since 1970 have been toward that end. But we don’t and can’t do it in a vacuum. The affordable housing we develop, the services we provide and the training we offer depend largely on public funding and on sound public policy that supports our objectives.
If you share our commitment to housing for all, make your voice heard in the following ways:
- Housing Solutions encourages you to exercise your right to vote. The first step is to register to vote. If you are not already registered, you can do so by downloading a voter registration form at the Secretary of State’s Web page and returning it to your city/town hall.
- Contact your elected officials about issues, legislation and budget priorities related to increasing affordable housing opportunities. Find your legislators.
- Get informed about housing issues and about campaigns to promote affordable housing in the state and nationally by visiting CHAPA’s webpage and by looking for legislative and other advocacy alerts on this web page.
